The official end to summer is upon us with Labor Day fast approaching.

Here’s what’s open and what’s closed on Labor Day.

Town Hall and all town offices are closed Monday. This includes the Senior Center and the Public Library. All schools, both public and private, are closed on Labor Day as well.

All federal and state offices are also closed today. This includes the Post Office, as well as the State Department of Emergency Management and other state public health offices.

TRANSPORTATION

  • See above for Metro North info or click here.
  • Connecticut Transit in Stamford and Darien will operate on a Sunday schedule
  • Wheels, the Norwalk Transit District, offices are closed.
