Wildcat Review: Track Records Broken, Former UCONN Player Gives Clinic
School records are broken in boys track, baseball whomps Norte Dame-Fairfield again and softball shines.
While several games were played last week, the Wildcats had some extra special highlights.
Last Monday, school boys track records were broken. In particular, Josh Barrera broke the long time 100 meter, clocking in at 11 seconds flat.
On May 3, The Bethel High Rebound Club sponsored a girls basketball clinic, when players came to learn and improve their skills with former UCONN Husky Maria Conlon. Conlon, along with Bethel girls basketball Coach Christin Morgatto, led her Seymour High School team to two state championships. While at UConn, her team went to four NCAA Tournaments winning three championships and four Big East regular season titles, and established an NCAA women’s basketball record with 70 consecutive wins.
