Woman Arrested in for I.D. Theft at Stony Hill Bethel Senior Living

The Danbury woman turned herself in to Bethel police after learning there was an outstanding warrant for her arrest.

A thirty-eight-year-old Danbury woman was arrested on Nov. 9, 2015 after turning herself in to Bethel police upon learning of an outstanding warrant.

Tarsya McCrea was arrested on three different charges all related to an ongoing investigation of identity theft at Maplewood at Stony Hill, a senior living facility in Bethel, according to a police report. Police said McCrea was found to have made numerous unauthorized charges on victims’ credit cards.

McCrea was charged with 4th Degree Larceny, 5th Degree Larceny, Illegal Use of Credit Cards, and Identity Theft.
