Writers Group at Bethel Public Library Meets Wednesday
The Bethel Public Library is hosting a series of writers group meetings for local aspiring and published authors to gather and share work.

The Bethel Public Library is celebrating writers with author talks, book discussions, and now a writers group for adults to gather and share work in a relaxed, supportive environment.
“Surveys show that writers who meet regularly are more motivated and steadily improve their skills,” Susan Anderson said in a release.
The Bethel Library Writers Group meets monthly on select Wednesday evenings from 6 - 7:45 p.m.. The group is open to adults age 21 years and older. Attendees should bring an original piece to read, and be ready to give and receive constructive feedback. Professional writing instructor Linda Chiara and library staff facilitate the meetings.
The Fall/Winter schedule is as follows:
- November 18
- January 20
- February 17
The group meets in the Morse Conference Room at the library, 189 Greenwood Avenue, Bethel. Registration is required and is limited to 10 per meeting. Register through the library’s online calendar at www.bethellibrary.org, or call 203-794-8756 x4.
All programs sponsored by the Bethel Public Library are open to the public and meet accessibility requirements for the disabled. Those needing special accommodations should contact the Library two weeks prior to the program date to make arrangements.
