First Church of Christ Congregational UCC, 511 Amity Road Bethany, is offering a series of Advent Vesper Services and soup suppers each Wednesday evening between now and Christmas at 6:00 p.m.
Advent Vespers: In the hubbub of holiday preparations, it can be all too easy to lose sight of the holy wonder of Advent. So give yourself the gift of a space of time to breathe and pray on Wednesday evenings.
The First Church of Christ in Bethany is offering a series of Advent vespers and soup suppers, Nov. 30, Dec. 7, Dec. 14, Dec. 21. Quiet services of candlelight, readings, music, and prayer start at 6:00, followed by a simple soup supper at 6:30. All are welcome! There is no charge for the supper.
