March 4th – Pretzel Sunday: The pretzel has its roots as simple treats given by monks to as a reward to children who learned their prayers; its distinctive shape reminscent of arms folded in prayer.
So our Christian Education board is celebrating the humble pretzel this Sunday. We will be making fresh baked pretzels with the Sunday School kids in our Parish hall during church service. Join us after church service during the fellowship coffee hour to enjoy the warm goodies.
Are you new to our Church? No problem - all children are welcome to participate in our Sunday school and youth programming, so feel free to come any Sunday.
