$1.75 Million Approved For Major Branford Road Project
The funds will be bonded, officials said.

BRANFORD, CT — The Branford Board of Finance voted unanimously earlier this summer to appropriate $1.75 million for the reconstruction of East Industrial Road. The funds will be bonded.
The road reconstruction will occur from Leetes Island Road to Pin Oak Drive. The roadway serves a large portion of Branford's commercial tax base.
Town officials said that the road was built 40 years ago and the life span of a road is 20 years with proper maintenance, and that there is significant need to upgrade the road.
