2 Convicted Felons Possessed Gun Inside Branford Motel 6: Report

The two men are being held in lieu of a $20,000 bond.

BRANFORD, CT — A disturbance at a local motel led to the arrest of two men, who were found to be in possession of a loaded firearm, The Sound reports. Police responded at 2 a.m. to a Motel 6 and officers saw the .38 caliber revolver, which was seized, according to the report.

Both Joseph Feero, 49, and Matthew Corbett, 38, of New Haven are convicted felons, The Sound reports.

Both men are charged with third-degree criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, carrying a pistol without a permit, and criminal possession of a firearm, the New Haven Register reports. Both men were also held in lieu of a $20,000 bond.
