2 Elderly Residents Injured in Branford Fire

BRANFORD, CT — A small fire at Parkside Village II resulted in minor injuries to two elderly residents, the Branford Fire Department said on their Facebook page.

Neighbors hearing the alarm and seeing smoke called 911, they then assisted the occupant to safely, fire officials said. The occupant and one of her rescuers were treated by Branford Fire Department Paramedics and transported to the hospital. Branford Police Department assisted as well.
