2 People Found Dead Inside Apartment: Branford Police

BRANFORD, CT — The Branford Police Department and the Connecticut State Police Major Crime Squad are currently investigating the discovery of two deceased people inside an apartment on 111 Florence Road.

Police said at 11 p.m. that officers received a 911 call at 6:18 p.m. Monday and officers found "two persons deceased with signs of trauma."

The scene was secured and the investigation is ongoing. "There is no known immediate threat related to this incident," police said.

Autopsies will be performed by the Office of the Chief State Medical Examiner to determine cause and manner of death. Additional information will follow as developed. Anyone with any information is asked to call Branford police at 203-481-4241.
