4-Year-Old Child Suffers Serious Injuries in Branford Accident: Police

Several people were involved in the two car crash and others were also injured.

BRANFORD, CT — A four-year-old child sustained serious injuries in a two car crash in Branford Sunday evening, State Police said.

At 7:30 p.m. Branford Police Department responded to a crash on Route 1/East Main St. near the Interstate-95 exit 55 off-ramp for a two car crash.

Serious injury was reported to a 4-year-old, said State Police spokeswoman Kelly Grant.

Several people were involved, and some had injuries, Grant said. All injured people were transported to local hospitals.
