50 Branford Residents Attend Vigil To Remember Las Vegas Victims Thursday

A crowd of about 50 people, which included Sen. Ted Kennedy Jr. and many police and fire personnel attended.

BRANFORD, CT - The town of Branford in conjunction with its local churches held a candlelight vigil on Thursday night in remembrance of the victims of the shooting massacre in Las Vegas. The vigil was held on the steps of the Town Hall/Town Green from 7:00-7:30 p.m.

A crowd of about 50 people, which included Sen. Ted Kennedy Jr. and many police and fire personnel from the town of Branford listened to scripture from area clergy, and held lit candles during the somber event.

Stephen Paddock, 64, killed 58 concert goers and wounded close to 500 more in the shooting on Sunday, before killing himself as authorizes closed in on him on his 32nd floor hotel room at a nearby hotel.
