98th House District Candidates' Debate

The candidates vying to replace retiring State Rep. Patricia Widlitz will appear together on Oct. 22.

The two candidates on the Nov. 4 ballot for the Ct. General Assembly’s 98th District are Cindy Cartier (R) and Sean Scanlon (D), both from Guilford.

A public, nonpartisan debate will take place in the Menunkatuck Room in the Guilford Community Center, 32 Church St., on Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 7:30 p.m. Sponsored by the League of Women Voters–East Shore, it will cover topics of general interest to voters across the district that encompasses portions of both Branford and Guilford.

A BCTV crew will record the event for delayed broadcast via public access TV channels and Internet sites.
