After Window Fall, Puppy 'Amara' Has Surgery, Needs Help With Vet Bill
With a leg broken in several places, she was dropped, left at a vet's office. Now in Animal Shelter care, the surgery cost is $2,000.

BRANFORD, CT —It's not clear from what height, but the puppy fell from a window, broke its leg in three places and was abandoned to a veterinarian by its owner. Now, Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter is caring for her, but the cost of necessary surgery being done Wednesday is around $2,000.
"The people who had her dropped her off at the vet and left her there," the animal shelter noted in a Facebook appeal. "This poor baby has been in pain and desperately needs this surgery. She is about 13 or 14 months old, and she deserves a happy, full life after all of this."
