Owner Courtney Rosenberg, who also has a Master of Social Work degree, sees the impact of crafting firsthand in her studio.

"People walk in feeling overwhelmed or stressed and leave calmer, more focused, and reconnected," Rosenberg said. "Creative activities offer a meaningful break from screens, encourage mindfulness, and provide a sense of accomplishment—things we all need, especially right now."

At Re-Loved Designs, LLC, participants of all ages engage in a variety of accessible, hands-on projects designed to inspire creativity while supporting emotional well-being.

From guided workshops to open craft sessions, the studio provides a welcoming space for the community to unwind and reconnect.

Rosenberg is encouraging individuals to explore simple ways to incorporate creativity into their daily routines, noting that even small, intentional moments of making can have a positive impact on mental health.

As conversations around mental health continue to grow, local initiatives like “craft therapy” offer approachable and uplifting tools that anyone can try at home.
