BRANFORD, CT — With a fun and engaging theme for each dinner, the Community Dining Room presents Community Dinners on the Branford Green.
The dinners, which are free, are held on the Green behind Town Hall, bordered by South Main Street and Montowese Street.
The theme activities begin at 5:30 p.m. Dinner is served from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., while supplies last.
Please bring a chair or blanket for seating. In the event of bad weather, the site will be the First Congregational Church, 1009 Main St.
Free, there's no RSVP or registration required.
Dinner dates:
June 16. The themed activity is Dinosaurs Roar with the Peabody Museum. Dinner is provided by Marco Pizza.
June 23. The themed activity is Kid Olympics with InShape Fitness and Branford Parks & Recreation. On this day, dinner is served at 5:30 p.m., and is provided by Nonna Gina’s Prepared Foods and Gelato.
June 30. The themed activity is Fun Safety Day with the Branford Fire Department. Dinner is provided by Jalapeño Heaven.
July 7. The themed activity is Nature Pals with Curious Creatures. Dinner is provided by Jimmy John's.
July 14. The themed activity is Unicorn Tales and the food is by Indian Neck Pizza.
July 21. The themed activity is Superhero Evening with What’s the Issue? Dinner is from Lenny‘s of Indian Neck
July 28. Creativity Plus with Fired Up! Food by Forte's Gourmet Market and Catering
August 4: National Night Out with the Branford Police Department. Dinner is by the Parthenon Diner.
August 11. The themed activity is Back to School at the Blackstone Library. Dinner is by Kamana Indian Restaurant
