Eunice grew up in Momauguin and loved spending time at the beach with her family and friends. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who had a special gift for helping and caring for people. She worked as a CNA in the private sector before and after working at Talmadge Park (Whispering Pines) for over 15 years. She was a loving mother who would do anything for her children and family. She also enjoyed sewing, knitting, baking, listening to music, watching UConn Basketball and the NY Yankees.

The Vergati family would like to “Thank” the entire staff at Whispering Pines for their kind and compassionate care of their mother, especially, Sasha, Sylvie and Candy.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday June 9, 2026 from 10 AM until the time of service at 12 PM (NOON) in the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Burial will follow at East Lawn Cemetery, East Haven.

In honor of Eunice’s love of cats, please make donations to the Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter, 749 E. Main Street, Branford CT 06405.
