BRANFORD, CT — The Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter, working to rid the shelter from a rat infestation, has a realtively uncommon shelter resident who really needs to fly the coop.
"We have a rooster that desperately needs a home," the shelter posted to Facebook.
"Any farms looking for a rooster to protect their hens ? Any rooster sanctuaries looking to help out an abandoned rooster," the shelter asked
