BRANFORD, CT — Branford native Al Raebuck will be performing at the Connecticut Country Music Festival Aug. 1.
The Branford High School graduate joins national stars Annie Bosko, Mark Mackay, Morgan Myles, and Kristen Brown at the inaugural festival hosted by American Idol winner Taylor Hicks, according to a news release from Raebuck.
Raebuck will perform on the Locals & Regionals Stage at the festival on Saturday, delivering a mix of original songs and
crowd-favorite country covers. Known for his authentic songwriting and engaging live performances, Raebuck blends modern country influences with timeless classics. He joins fellow Connecticut acts North County Band and The Joe D Band on a lineup that celebrates both regional talent and national performers.
Slated to be held at the North Haven Fairgrounds, the 21+, one-day, rain-or-shine outdoor live music fest features two stages. Admission includes free parking, drinking water, axe-throwing, mechanical bull riding, and line dancing.
A portion of every ticket goes to support the North Haven Police Department, the North Haven Fire Department, Saving Paws of Meriden, wildlife sanctuary Lockets Meadow Farm in Bethany, and the Connecticut Air and Space Center in Stratford.
The gates open at 11 a.m. with live music all day on both stages. Festival guests can expect food vendors and activities throughout the day.
