Shellfish Farm Among 36 New Businesses Registered In Branford In July

BRANFORD, CT — Thirty-six new businesses registered with the state in Branford in July, according to the Connecticut Business Registry. The most unusual entry was Kelsey Island Ocean Farm LLC, which registered under the shellfish farming category at 5 Paynes Point on July 24.

Six businesses registered at 1204 Main Street during the month, including two software firms, A1Asset AI, Inc. and RingPilot AI LLC, an engineering firm, IM3-EQUAGEN Corporation, a financial firm, Summit Advance LLC, a video production company, Christ Lead Ministries Media LLC, and a residential remodeler, Arev Construction LLC. Personal care and retail rounded out the month, with Sparkle Nails Star LLC and Loxe Salon LLC registering as nail and beauty salons.

State registration marks when a business files paperwork with the Secretary of the State, not necessarily when it opens to customers, so some of these ventures may not yet be operating at the addresses listed.
