Branford Scouting 633-1633 is preparing to launch another exciting year filled with outdoor adventures, skill-building activities, and community involvement for boys and girls.
The organization offers programs for children and teens of all ages, providing opportunities to explore nature, develop leadership skills, and build lasting friendships.
For Cub Scouts, ages 5 to 10, the upcoming year promises a variety of fun and educational activities. Highlights from recent programs have included an overnight visit to the New England Air Museum, a winter cabin campout, participation in Branford's Veterans Day, Christmas, and Memorial Day parades, a Halloween celebration, and a fall camping trip.
Older youth, ages 11 to 17, can take part in the Scouts BSA program, which features a challenging and adventure-filled schedule. This year we will build on our last year of events which included summer resident camp, a Horsemanship Merit Badge weekend, and a 50-mile canoe expedition as part of the troop's year-round camping program.
Branford Scouting welcomes new members and families interested in learning more about the program. Information about upcoming events, schedules, and photos from past adventures can be found at www.branfordscouting.org.
