BRANFORD, CT — From a $336,000 condo at Hampton Park to a $1.33 million home on Sawmill Road, Branford's latest sales spanned entry-level condos to a sprawling single-family estate.
There were five homes sold in Branford between Sept. 14 and Sept. 16, with a top price of $1,330,000, according to Zillow.com.
15 Third Ave. — Sept. 16, $699,000. The three-bedroom, two-bath home has 1,977 square feet of living space.
84 Sawmill Road — Sept. 14, $1,330,000, the top price of this batch. The three-bedroom, four-bath home has 4,644 square feet of living space on 1.87 acres, the largest home and lot in this batch.
52 East Main St. — Sept. 15, $380,000. The two-bedroom, one-bath home has 1,186 square feet of living space.
21 Harbour Village, Unit C — Sept. 15, $369,000. The two-bedroom, three-bath condo has 1,316 square feet of living space.
5 Hampton Park, Unit 5 — Sept. 15, $336,000, the lowest price of this batch. The two-bedroom, one-bath condo has 1,114 square feet of living space.
What this says about the Branford market: Prices in this batch ranged nearly four times over, from $336,000 to $1,330,000. Despite being the largest and priciest home by far, 84 Sawmill Road sold for one of the lowest rates per square foot in the batch, about $286 — barely above Harbour Village's $280 and well below Third Avenue's $354, the highest of the five.
