Branford Restaurant Week

Branford Restaurant Week is coming to town! Sunday, April 14 – Saturday, April 20, 2013

Branford, CT – The Town of Branford and local restaurants are excited to announce that the second annual Branford Restaurant Week will be held on Sunday, April 14 through Saturday, April 20, 2013.

The event will boast 23 restaurants in Branford serving special menus or three-course prix fixe menus at $13 per person for lunch and $25 per person for dinner. Participating restaurants and their menus can be seen at branfordrestaurantweek.com (which also offers a mobile-friendly site). Plus, just like last year, the site offers a drawing for $25 gift cards to participating restaurants and also local merchants for use after restaurant week.

“We are so happy to have even more restaurants involved this year than in 2012,” says Robyn Collins of Shore Publishing, who is coordinating the marketing for the event. “The Sound got involved starting last year because, like all small businesses, our end goal is to get more traffic into the great towns that we live and work in. We handle the marketing so that the restaurants don’t have to – and they can just focus on creating great menus for Restaurant Week.”

“This event is a way to further promote the town as a destination and to showcase its stellar restaurant scene,” says Terence Elton of the Town of Branford’s Special Projects/Economic Development office. “It has been received enthusiastically by everyone involved; participating restaurants run from one end of town to the other and include a broad variety of cuisines and styles.”
