New Haven’s Campus Customs Announces Merger With Major Event Marketing Organization.

Campus Customs, one of Connecticut's premier screen printing, embroidery and promotional product companies has allied with Team Retail Solutions, a Winston-Salem based event marketing organization in a merger that “strengthens both companies”, according to Joel Cobden the Co-Owner and Vice President of the New Haven company.

Team Retail Solutions, (TRS) now a new division of Campus Customs, represents the retail interests of several pro sports teams and more than fifty festivals and sports events around the country. These events include Tough Mudder, Sony Ericsson Open, Armed Forces Bowl, New York City Triathlon and TD Five Boro Bike Tour.

John Knudson, President of TRS, will remain with his organization as Director of the newly-formed “TRS by CC” Event Division at Campus Customs. 

Prior to Forming TRS, Mr. Knudson served as Retail Director at Turner Field for the Atlanta Braves, and as Senior Buyer for several other national sporting goods retailers. According to Mr. Cobden, Knudson's extensive management experience at venues of all types including major sports stadiums, Big-Box concept stores and mall-based boutique chains will serve this merger well.

Knudson, a native of Atlanta, GA, will oversee the day-to-day operations of the new Campus Customs Division from his Winston Salem, NC office.
