Animal And Book Lovers Flock To The Branford Green

The Green was a popular place last weekend. Take a look at some of the photos from the popular event.

BRANFORD, CT– Animal and book lovers shared the Branford Green on Sunday – both for good causes. Animal Awareness Day, among other things, educates the public about the importance of spay/neutering and care of for homeless cats and kittens.

But there was also therapy horses, goat yoga and blessing of the animals sessions held as part of the fun events for pet lovers.

On the other side of the green, the annual book sale to benefit the Blackstone Library was wrapping up a three-day run.

Over 70,000 books, all donated, were up for grabs for those who love to read.
