Art Teacher Mrs. Muckle Brings Polar Express to ESCA Students!

Mrs. Muckle brought a little Christmas spirit to all the students as she rolled out the candy cane railroad track carpet!

All aboard ESCA's Polar Express! East Shoreline Catholic Academy's (ESCA) art teacher Mrs. Muckle brought a little Christmas spirit to all the students as she rolled out the candy cane railroad track carpet! She created this winter wonderland Polar Express Room filled with lots of love and creativity, including a Polar Express Train, interactive gingerbread house, sleigh bed, cookies, and much, much, more (all of which she made herself)! The students were surprised to see what awaited them in this winter wonderfully designed room, as they were led by the Polar Express conductor, Mr. Michael Rizzo (Mrs. Muckle's father). After gazing at all the wonderful decorations the students watched The Polar Express movie. The eighth graders waited out in the hallway until it was time to surprise all the students with hot chocolate, while some of our ESCA Moms helped the eighth graders out, handing out cookies and hot chocolate to everyone. At the end of the movie each student was given a little red sack with a bell and a tag that read The Bell Still Rings for those Who Truly Believe!

East Shoreline Catholic Academy (ESCA) is a dynamic Pre-K3 to Gr.8 STREAM (science, technology, religion, engineering, art, and mathematics) model school, preparing individual students to be our future leaders rooted in faith, service, and academic excellence. ESCA is the successor school of Our Lady of Mercy School in Madison and Saint Mary School in Branford. To learn more about ESCA visit our website: east shoreline catholic academy
