Beginning Thursday, Branford First Selectman Josh Brooks Holds Monthly 'Coffee & Conversation'

BRANFORD, CT—Beginning Thursday morning, and continuing the first Thursday of each month, First Selectman Josh Brooks hopes folks will join him for a cup of Joe and a convo.

"As your new First Selectman, I want to make sure Branford residents know that their town government is open, accessible, and listening," Brooks noted in a community message. That’s why, he said, he's starting Monthly Coffee Hours: Coffee & Conversation with Josh, held on the first Thursday of every month at 8 a.m. at the Parthenon Diner in Branford. The first is Thursday Feb. 5."

"There’s no agenda, and no appointment is needed. Just coffee, conversation, and a chance to connect," he said. "Whether you have a concern to share, an idea to discuss, or just want to say hello, I’d love to hear from you."

Brook said the hour is "meant to be informal, welcoming, and easy—an opportunity to talk one-on-one with your First Selectman."

"Local government works best when it’s built on conversation, transparency, and trust. I hope you’ll stop by and join me," Brooks said.
