Bicyclist Seriously Injured In Hit-And-Run Accident: Branford PD
BREAKING: Police are asking for assistance in solving the hit-and-run accident.

BRANFORD, CT — The Branford Police Department in conjunction with the South Central Connecticut Traffic Unit (SCCTU) is investigating a serious injury motor vehicle accident that occurred 8:20 a.m. Sunday.
A white Ford Super Duty pickup truck, driven by a white male, struck a bicyclist on Boston Post Road (Route 1) by the intersection of Featherbed Lane. The pickup truck then fled from the scene eastbound on Route 1, police said.
"We are asking the public for help in an attempt to locate the vehicle and white male operator. The pickup truck has damage to the passenger side headlight assembly area. The bicyclist was seriously injured and transported to the hospital," Branford Police said.
