Big Turnout At Sat. Workout For Branford Biker Hurt By Trucker

The PIT Fitness Club held a workout and fundraiser on Saturday to raise funds to help defray medical costs for woman hurt in accident.

BRANFORD, CT - More than 50 people came to a workout and raffle on Saturday morning to raise funds to help defray the medical costs for a Branford bike rider who was badly injured last November by a hit-and-run truck driver.

The workout at the PIT Fitness Club was to raise funds for Patricia Criscuolo, who is a member of the club.

Criscuolo was in attendance at Saturday's workout - along with dozens of members of the community who came to show their support for the woman who has endured numerous surgeries after the horrific accident which happened at the intersection of East Main Street and Featherbed Lane.
