Blackstone Library Renovation/Addition Project Changes
The town did take the first step and approve funds for the design process.

BRANFORD, CT - Plans for an addition/renovation at the James Blackstone Library are still on track, it’s just going to take a different route.
The Finance Board voted to approve $50,000 recently to fund the design process but the town will now manage the project and a new architect is being hired, the Branford Seven reports.
Initial estimates ranged from $4.5 million to $6 million for the project, but that could now change depending on what the new architect recommends. Plans include relocating the children’s area and expanding the space for young adults, the Seven reports.
