Blue Ribbons Show Support For Branford PD
A retired police lieutenant is tying blue ribbons around town.

BRANFORD, CT – Branford is getting a serious case of the blues.
The town is being decorated with blue ribbons in a show of support for law enforcement, according to a report on Fox 61 News.
The idea came from Branford resident and retired police lieutenant Stan Konesky Jr. The 29-year-police veteran is displaying blue ribbons throughout Branford to show support for the police, Fox reports.

He is also handing out ribbons to businesses and individuals to display.
Konesky, whose career includes 13 years of teaching at the CT State Police Academy, told Fox he was inspired in the wake of recent national events, including the shootings in Dallas.
