Week Nine brings a number of welcomed changes: the corn gluten seems to be keeping the weeds at bay, the crops continue to grow sturdy and tall and there is finally a spark of productivity in the ranks. The tomatillos are fruiting, the strawberries are producing and the pepper plants are flowering. The only straglers are the tomatoes, but I think there may be some flowers starting to think about maybe blooming. You be the judge.
