Information via the town concerning brush chipping:
We will be brush chipping beginning on Wednesday, October 2nd, Thursday, October 3rd, and Friday, October 4th. We will be accepting brush on Saturday that week.
There is always the possibility it may take longer than those given dates, so please mark your calendar and check it before bringing brush to be sure you won't be turned away!
You may want to call ahead, 203-483-8641, just to make sure you won’t be turned away, and please plan accordingly.
At the Transfer Station we chip the brush you bring us into mulch which is available to residents for free while supplies last! We cannot accept leaves or brush on the days when we are chipping, since for safety reasons, we cannot allow anyone on the back of the property while the machine is running.
