Branford Announces Restaurant Week Details and Participating Locations

BRANFORD, CT - The Town of Branford and local restaurants are excited to announce that the 5th annual Branford Restaurant Week will be held on Monday, March 28 through Saturday, April 2, 2016.

The event will boast 19 restaurants in Branford serving three-course prix fixe or special menus. Participating restaurants and their menus can be seen at branfordrestaurantweek.com (which also offers a mobile-friendly site). Plus, just like previous years, the site offers a drawing for $25 gift cards to participating restaurants for use after restaurant week.

“Anyone who owns a business or has ever run a public event knows how much work it is and how much marketing it takes to be noticed through the plethora of marketing and advertising around us,” says Robyn Collins, Publisher of Shore Publishing and The Sound in a statement.

“This event is possible because of the sponsors that understand the importance of boosting local restaurants. Through their sponsorships, we are able to get the word out in print, on billboards, through posters and billfold stuffers, a banner on Main Street, digital advertising, and more.”

The 2016 Branford Restaurant Week is thankful to have major sponsorships from Mosaic Printing, Thimble Islands Brewing, and The Sound newspaper, plus sponsorships from Ring’s End, Shoreline Orthodontics, Aquatic Pool, and Trailblazer.

The 2015 event gave a new Branford restaurant a way to get known quickly. “We loved Branford Restaurant Week because it brought in new faces and we met some great people in our community,” says Victor Figueroa of Jojoto.

“I think that Restaurant Week is a great opportunity for people to experience the different variety of foods that Branford has to offer,” says Angela Mazzarella of Asti. “People can also get the great feeling that Branford has to offer.”
