Branford Announces Spring Leaf Collection Dates
On a day when six inches of snow is expected to fall, it's hard to comprehend leaf collection but spring will be here soon enough.
BRANFORD, CT - Ironically. Branford officials announced the spring leaf collection dates today when the town may see up to six inches of snow.
Spring leaf collection will be Monday through Thursday, every other week, the weeks of March 26th April 9th, April 23rd and the last week being the week of May 7th. ( unless of course snow falls prior or on the scheduled collection date)
Make sure that that your leaves are out before midnight the night before your collection day. Leaves must be placed in brown paper leaf bags or loose in garbage cans. Never place leaves in plastic bags.

Leaves must be clean of all litter first, no rocks, soil or branches. Your leaves can always be brought to the compost site behind the Transfer Station at any time of the year, a Branford Residence sticker is required.
