Branford Bans Smoking at Town Recreational Facilities: Report

BRANFORD, CT — The Branford Recreation Board has adopted a no smoking policy for all parks in town, according to the Branford Seven.

Officials cited the dangers of secondhand smoke as a major reason for the smoking ban.

The ban includes all Branford Recreation Department facilities including beaches and is in effect at all times.

Smoking is defined as cigarettes, pipes, cigars and even e-cigarettes, the Branford Seven reports.
