Branford Election 2021: Judith Barron Running For RTM District 1

Democrat Judith Barron, 45, is running for RTM 1st District in Branford.

The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:

There are gaps in the town's communications which need to be addressed. Our system needs to be updated to reflect the many different modes in which people receive communications. Meanwhile, new residents are often left out of the communications. I will work to create a more proactive system that gets everyone the timely town information they need.

Critical differences between me and my opponents:

In all the roles I have held, I am a constant voice with a commitment to all constituents in our community. This skill set can help create needed conversations to make positive changes happen within our Town and for our Branford residents.

Accomplishments:

My past and present volunteer and professional work in the community have always been solution based and kept me connected to the different structures that make up Branford. It has allowed me to support and identify community needs and resources and further streamline them effectively and efficiently.

What else would you like voters to know about you?

It is important for all voices in the community to be heard, and all unique perspectives should be embraced to allow for the community to work together to create needed change. I intend to help everyone be heard in a fair and just manner.
