The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:
Economic Development is a huge issue. The right leadership would ensure keeping our taxes low and provide job opportunities and bringing younger families to our town.
Critical differences between me and my opponents:
The willingness to work with all members of the RTM for the betterment of Branford, rather than making closed-door decisions that involve only one party.
Accomplishments:
I've been involved in elections locally, statewide and federally all my life. I was the first female Democratic Moderator of the RTM in the late 90s. I'm not afraid to work hard for the betterment of the Town.
Other issues:
My daughter is a product of the Branford Public School System. Paying our teachers well and supporting the Police & Fire Departments are important issues to me and other town residents.
What else would you like voters to know about you?
I recently retired from the State of CT Judicial Branch, after 31 years serving as a Bail Commissioner, Affirmative Action Division Coordinator and finally Chief Probation Officer. Currently, I'm a Vice Chair of the Democratic Town Committee. You can find me backstage doing hair at the BHS theater productions, and one of my favorite things to do!
