Branford Fire Department to Hold Dedication for New Training Center
The work to convert the building was done by department members and funded primarily through donations.
From Branford FD: The Branford Fire Department will hold a ceremony to dedicate their new training center at Branford Fire Headquarters, 45 North Main Street on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. The new training center will be named in honor of Assistant Chief Robert J. Massey, Sr. Assistant Chief Massey has devoted 65 years of volunteer service to the Town of Branford. The Fire Department is proud to be able to recognize and thank Assistant Chief Massey with this dedication.
The picnic pavilion at the back of the property has been converted to the multi-use training center for the department’s use. The work to convert the building was done by department members and funded primarily through donations. Guests will be able to tour the building and get a look at the training equipment inside.
