Branford Fire Department Extinguishes Fire After Amtrak Transformer Explosion

Information from the Branford Fire Department

An Amtrak transformer exploded adjacent to a Meadow Street business creating this impressive smoke ring. The resulting fire spread to a boat and dump truck below. It was stopped from extending into the building by a quick knock down by the BFD. No injuries reported.
