Branford Fire Dep't Responds To 18 Calls For Service

BRANFORD, CT — The Branford Fire Department was very busy on Saturday handling 18 calls for service throughout town.

"These crews responded to a diverse range of call types including medical emergencies, vehicle accidents, a marine response and car fire. 5 incidents occurred after midnight, 2 of which were located on Interstate 95. Interstate Highways can be some of the most dangerous operating locations for any first responder due to the combination of high speed and inattentive or distracted driving," the Branford Fire Department said.
