Branford Firefighters Kept Busy By Powerful Storm That Hit Town

The storm knocked out power in the Featherbed Lane area for many hours and a house was struck by lightning.

BRANFORD, CT - Branford Firefighters responded to several storm related incidents yesterday including, a house struck by lightning on Flat Rock Rd, a car in the water on Indian Neck Ave and these primary power lines down on Featherbed Lane, according to a post on the department’s Facebook page.

No injuries were reported.
