Branford Firefighters Tackle Basement Blaze

BRANFORD, CT — Firefighters report extinguished a house fire on Brooklawn Terrace Tuesday afternoon.

The Branford Fire Department responded to a call just after 2:30 p.m. First responders found a basement fire that has left the home temporarily uninhabitable, according to fire officials.

Two occupants escaped the blaze unharmed, and a third was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

On social media, the Branford FD thanked members of the East Haven Fire Department, Guilford Fire Department and American Medical Response New Haven for their assistance.
