Branford Food Pantry: Help Ensure That No Neighbor Has To Face Hunger Alone With Filled Grocery Bag

BRANFORD, CT — "The need for food assistance continues throughout our community, and your support helps ensure that no neighbor has to face hunger alone," the Branford Food Pantry shared.

Saturday, folks can help support the Food Pantry while shopping at the Branford Big Y.

The "special food drive" is set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the supermarket.

Shoppers can add a pre-packaged donation bag to their purchase to "help stock our shelves with food that will go directly to local families in need."

Cash donations are also gratefully accepted.

"We are grateful to Big Y and their outstanding employees for hosting this event and supporting the Pantry's mission," the Food Pantry posted on Facebook.

"Together, we can make a difference—one bag, one donation, one neighbor at a time."
