Branford July 4th Fireworks: What You Need To Know About Saturday Show

Time, location, parking, road closures, food trucks, and lots more to know about Saturday's fireworks extravaganza at Branford Point.

BRANFORD, CT — Cities and counties across the country continue to bring back many of the traditional Independence Day activities that were either canceled or modified the last two years.

Here's what's in store in Branford:
What: Fireworks
When: Saturday, June 25 at 9 p.m.

No parking road closures.

Cars will be towed in No Parking areas, police say.

Yellow-No Parking 8am Saturday through 8am Sunday
Orange-No Parking 4pm Saturday through Midnight Sunday
Red-Street Closed until end of event 6/24

Town Dock is closed as of Friday, 06/24/2022 at 8:00a.m. until Sunday at 8:00a.m.

Closed Roads: In addition to the areas posted on the map, Harbor Street, from Goodsell Point Road/Stannard Avenue will be closed around or before 7:00p.m. Saturday for the safety of pedestrians, so PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY to get down to see the show!

Patience, please. Police request patience with the traffic build up due to the event, and "that you are mindful of pedestrians, bicyclists, other motorists, as well as officers who may be directing you accordingly."

Bus Pickup Location : Community House on Church Street. Bus will travel from Church St, to Meadow, to Kirkham, to Harbor. Drop off will still be at Goodsell and Stannard (beginning at 5:30p.m.)

Vendors: Only approved, licensed vendors are allowed.

Food Trucks: Available in the park if you are hungry beginning at 5:00p.m.!

Parker Memorial Park Rules include: Consumption of Alcoholic Beverages Prohibited, No Glass Containers, No Fires unless in Installed Grill Stands/Fireplaces, and No Animals in the Park.
