Branford Makes Decision On School Friday
BREAKING: A foot of snow fell in some areas Thursday.
BRANFORD, CT — A powerful and quick moving winter storm dropped between 6 and 12 inches of snow on the area Thursday, which is leading to a second straight day off from school for students.
Branford Public Schools posted: "Branford Public Schools is canceling school for Friday, January 5, 2018. All school-sponsored evening activities for January 5, 2018, are canceled."
Enjoy the long weekend and be safe as wind chills will be running as low as 20 below zero on Friday and early Saturday. More snow is possible on Monday.
