Branford Man Possessed Crack After Motor Vehicle Accident: Milford Police

MILFORD, CT — Police say a Branford man was involved in a motor vehicle accident in Milford and officers allegedly found crack inside the car.

On May 7, officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on the Boston Post Road near East Town Road, police said. A separate investigation led to the arrest of Dennis Leary, 44, of Hickory Road in Branford, who was found to be in possession of crack and prescription medication, which he does not posses a prescription for, police said.

He is charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on a promise to appear in Superior Court, Milford on May 30.
