Branford Man Stole $4K Worth Of Items From W.B. Mason: Hamden PD
The man is accused of stealing around $4,000 worth of items during a burglary at W.B. Mason in Hamden, according to police.

HAMDEN, CT — A Branford man is accused of stealing about $4,000 worth of items from W.B. Mason in Hamden during a burglary last year, according to police. The burglary took place on April 22, 2019, at W.B. Mason at 2460 State St., according to Capt. Ronald Smith.
Smith said police found that Darren Bowman forced his way into the business through a rear door and stole about $4,000 worth of items. Det. Donald Remillard conducted the investigation that led to an arrest warrant for Bowman.
Branford police arrested Bowman July 12 and turned him over to the Hamden Police Department.

Bowman, 25, of Main Street in Branford, was charged with third-degree burglary and third-degree larceny. Bowman, who was detained on a court-ordered $10,000 bond, is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on Sept. 1.
