NORTH HAVEN, CT — A Branford man was recently arrested after police say he conspired with another former employee to steal items out of a North Haven company’s warehouse late last year. A business on Sackett Point Road reported to police in December of 2018 that equipment was missing from its warehouse.

Police said an investigation revealed that a former employee of the company, 34-year-old Louis Moreno of Branford, had conspired with another former employee to steal items out of the warehouse.

Investigators obtained a warrant for Moreno’s arrest and he was taken into custody on March 14. He was charged with multiple counts of burglary, larceny and conspiracy, according to police. Moreno was released after posting a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on March 28.
