Branford Man Violates Protective Order: Milford Police

Police said they stopped a vehicle because they were searching for a suspect in a theft from a local eatery.

MILFORD, CT — A Milford woman is accused of stealing a waitresses apron from a local restaurant, police said. A Branford man, who was driving a vehicle in which the suspect was found, was also charged as police say he violated a protective order, police said.

On June 23, Milford Police were called to Bar Louie, 1201 Boston Post Road, on a report of a theft, police said.

Officers learned that Angela Ferraiolo, 40, of New Haven Avenue in Milford had stolen an apron from a waitress that contained over $200 in cash and fled in a vehicle, police said. Police stopped a car on New Haven Avenue and Ferraiolo was arrested.

The driver of the vehicle, David Tobey, 37, of Mona Avenue in Branford, was also arrested as he is accused of violating a full no-contact protective order by being with Ferraiolo, police said.

Ferraiolo is charged with sixth-degree larceny and Tobey is charged with violation of a protective order and a few motor vehicle infractions. Tobey was given a $2,500 bond.
